The Grand Opening Event

On Saturday, August 12th, Lifesaving Hearts CPR owner Nicole Hayes and Heart Cert owner Tim Smith enthusiastically welcomed community members to experience the up-to-date technology and services available to them to learn the skills that save lives.

When arriving at the training center, guests were first greeted with a self-serve kiosk that allows individuals to receive CPR training through a virtual instructor. This accessibility enables everyone willing to invest a few minutes of time the opportunity to gain valuable lifesaving skills.

From there, community members were encouraged to walk through the thoughtfully designed center and experience the open and comfortable training spaces and numerous training tools throughout.

Mission and Values

Nicole Hayes took a few moments to speak to the community members, business leaders, and healthcare professionals who gathered to welcome Lifesaving Hearts CPR to Buford, focusing on the importance of instilling confidence and preparedness in individuals that will enable them to act swiftly and effectively when faced with life-threatening situations.

Lifesaving Hearts CPR understands that collective actions yield powerful results. Because of this, they are actively seeking partnerships with local businesses, schools, and healthcare facilities. Collaborations with like-minded organizations not only amplifies impact but also fosters a community-wide commitment to safety.

Universal Access to Training

In addition to the self-service kiosk, Lifesaving Hearts CPR and HeartCert also have full-service training rooms that can accommodate individuals, groups, or businesses for training in American Heart Association and Red Cross CPR, AED, First Aid, and Stop the Bleed, facilitated by knowledgeable and experienced instructors.

Lifesaving Hearts CPR and HeartCert’s new space allows them to also be here for their community healthcare professionals, offering certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), all in a warm, welcoming, and easily accessible space.

Partnering for Good

Lifesaving Hearts CPR’s commitment to the community goes beyond providing lifesaving training by also supporting others who are making an impact in the community.

As part of their Grand Opening, Lifesaving Hearts CPR and HeartCert hosted a fundraiser to provide an AED and other lifesaving equipment to Anna Crawford Children’s Center, which is dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect and protecting and serving children and families. Honor HVAC partnered with Lifesaving Hearts CPR to match all donations, further amplifying their support for impactful initiatives.

Looking to the Future

While Lifesaving Hearts is proud of its current life-saving training and certification opportunities, it also envisions an evolving future. Their partnership with HeartCert will enable a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification to be available at the Gwinnett training center later this year. Two fully equipped nursing training rooms and dedicated instructors are on standby to usher in this exciting new chapter of a wonderful partnership.
