Courses for Businesses
Just six minutes without oxygen kills the brain. Having members of your staff attend first aid training and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) classes in Atlanta can be the difference between life and death. Providing CPR in the first few minutes after someone collapses helps to circulate oxygen-rich blood to the person’s brain and other vital organs.

Why Should Employees Learn CPR?
CPR by the numbers:
- 10,000 – the estimated number of heart attacks that occur in United States workplaces each year as reported by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
- 9 in 10 cardiac arrest victims who receive a shock from an AED in the first minute live.
- 51% of employees cannot locate an automated external defibrillator (AED) at work.
- One-third of safety managers reported lives have been saved with Heartsaver training.
